In this article from PBS, it says that “In the 50 largest U.S. metro areas, median rent rose an astounding 19.3 percent from December 2020 to December 2021”. That’s crazy. In Miami, it was 49%. That’s insane. It’s a supply constrained scenario. Full article here: Link to article.
